Great App

Simple, easy to use. Allows you to track your nightly hours and keep notes as well.

Impressed

This simple, single-function app is aesthetically pleasing and intuitive to use. It makes tracking total nighttime sleep hours easy and less of a chore. It is the only sleep app Ive found so far that I use consistently enough to provide me with reliable information to report to my doctor. This app is not an exhaustive log for tracking details of sleep behaviour such as bedtime, frequency and duration of awakenings, time of final awakening, daytime naps, daytime sleepiness, etc. (functions I also require but have yet to find a satisfying app for).

Good

It does a pretty good job, though I think it would be even better if you could input the time that you fell asleep and woke up. It would also be great to be able to track naps during the day.

Good but needs...

This is a straightforward app that does only one thing but does it well. The only thing missing is the ability to sync data between devices so you dont have to manually re-enter it. A full iPad version would be nice but the iPhone version on the iPad is quite useable.

Nice

A very sweet & simple sleep logger. I like the note feature.

Good solid app - WELL worth the price

If you have sleep problems this is a good way to keep track. For what it does, its 5-stars, I only gave it 4 because there are a few features that would be great to add. I often end up taking naps and it would be great to track the nights sleep, the nap, and the total. Am I getting 8 hours total and how much of that is at night? Also, setting the time slept can be difficult -- using the "roller selector" would work much better than the slider. Otherwise, a great little app!

Would be five if...

The following features were implemented: enter sleep start time and wake time and have the app do the math. Someone commented that the slider is awkward, and I agree. An export data to .csv feature would be nice, bit only because I am a geek. What I like: the goal sleep time feature. I think the graphical display is good and love that you can make notes and rate the quality of sleep. This way, you can look back and see if there are periods of poor sleep and remember why. For instance, I tend to sleep poorly within a week of a full moon (weird, I know), with these features, I am now able to see patterns and adjust my schedule accordingly in the future.

My brain in an app

I love this thing! It keeps track of the hours I sleep and how good they are. Its helped me decide which number of sleep hours is best for me.

Great sleep app

Great little app. I use it every morning. I also like the graph, goals, and note section. The slider for number of sleep hours and quality slides too easily so its difficult to get an accurate number on the first try. And I would like a fuller edit functionality in the Notes. For example, the ability to use a carriage return. But otherwise, its a great way to keep track of your sleep patterns!

Good for tracking RLS and sleep disorders

Very useful for gathering enough information to see patterns and understand sleep issues. Im a major-league nightwalker because of restless leg syndrome (a horrible movement disorder with an exceptionally silly name), and this app has helped me manage medications and have a record my neurologist can discuss with me and respond to.

Great idea; design could be better

Love the idea, and the chart is nice, but I hate the way you have to select the number of hours. Instead of just typing in the number, you have to scroll to it on a bar, and its tricky to select the exact number you want. It seems to overrespond to your swipes, so its difficult to land on the exact number you want. But the idea is great.

Would like it if I could set the time when I hit the sheets, then kill it when I wake, instead

Instead of trying to remember when I went to sleep last night.

Not worth it

This is a waste of money. I could type this info into my notepad app and get better results! There should be a start/stop time for entries and the ability to add in naps... Otherwise what is the actual use of this? Annoying.

Hate the slider!

Useful but annoying, needs an update!

Sleep log

Its very nice, love rating quality of sleep and being able to write notes. Graph is great to!

Great app, one suggestion

Agreed, this is a helpful and easy to use app. I have gotten more from tracking my sleep patterns using this app than I did with a sleep doctor. Love the graphs to help illustrate my patterns which inspire better sleep hygiene. One suggestion, it would be very helpful to log and have reports for when I go to sleep and when I wake up. To have reports which compare all factors of sleep quantity, quality and times would be AMAZING!!!

Good app but very basic

This is a pretty good app but I wish you could track more than just hours slept and quality of sleep. I would be nice to be able to track the number of times you woke up, times you woke up, if youd had a drink or caffeine etc. Id also like to be able to export my data to excel or google

Helped Me Out SO Much

This App has helped me out so much. If you stay up really really late on the weekends and Summer, this App will help you go to bed earlier and get more sleep for you.

Graph is great

I like this app because of the graph. Very nice to visualize how long you slept weekly, monthly and yearly. It would be GREAT if I can keep track what time I sleep and wake up in the graph.

Functionally way too low to pay money

For $2 I expect a lot more. First of all, you cant delete past or accidental entries! The hour slider is to sensitive. Its difficult to get it to stay on the number of hours you want to set. Id like to also be able to track quality of sleep, scale of 1-10 maybe, and graph that as well on the same graph. Tracking bedtime and wake time would also be useful, and number of times I woke up. Itd be nice to have a list of checkboxes for common sleep issues. Waking up to go to the bathroom, waking up groggy, with a headache, stiff, pain, etc. Bottomline is there are free apps that do way more, but this has potential if the developer adds features and turns this into something of quality. Oh, and update for retina display. Cmon give me my $2 worth and Ill update to a 5!
